The HIIT Method

Using a cardio technique known as the HIIT method, a DRENCHED workout cranks up your metabolism to burn calories all day long.


The After Burn Effect (scientifically called Excess Postexercise Oxygen Consumption [EPOC]) is why the HIIT method works so well. Research shows that you gain the benefits of the After Burn Effect with “high intensity” workouts. The problem is that doing high intensity workouts is hard and unsustainable for long periods of time. Interestingly, your body responds the same way even if you break up the workout into intervals (much easier). Same great calorie burning benefits with easier bursts of high intensity intervals… One of the many ingredients in the “secret sauce” at DRENCHED.

What Makes
DRENCHED Different

DRENCHED Fitness is the place to go when you say, “I’m ready to get in shape”, and mean it. In just 60 minutes, you get the most sweat drenched, muscle sculpting workout of your life, taught by a personal trainer in a group setting. The state-of-the-art group fitness and nutrition studio combines cardio and strength training in proper proportions to maximize fat loss and muscle definition. DRENCHED creates an atmosphere of high energy and intensity with its “night club” lighting and top-of-the-line sound system.

Class Descriptions
Fast and Furious

If you have attention deficit disorder this is the class for you. You won't have time to lose focus or get bored. You will leave this one hour workout wondering what happened. It went by that fast. Your interval times will be 5-7 minutes alternating from the treadmill to the floor. This class was designed to make each muscle group work to its fullest potential. Floor work will focus on 1 muscle group each 5-7 minute interval. You won't leave this class wanting more. You've just given everything you have.

Functionaly Fit

TRX anyone? This class uses the cutting-edge principle of real strength! Your balance, stability and core strength will be challenged. If you pick up a dumbbell expect to be thrown a curveball. You will also execute moves utilizing your own body weight to provide the resistance needed to develop muscle strength and tone. A trainer will guide you through a full body workout using the TRX suspension, your body weight, a bosu ball and a stability ball to perform strength building motions. Functional strength training is the perfect method to personalize your workout and make it as challenging as you can handle! Treadmill work is thirty minutes.

Endurance DRENCHED

20+20+10+10=60 minutes of strong purposeful movements. The 20 minutes on the treadmill will allow you to build your cardiovascular endurance. Do NOT expect to slow down during this class. The 20 minutes on the floor will incorporate more movements and provide more time to work on executing movements fully to maximize the effect. That last 10 minutes on the treadmill is where you will again incorporate the HIIT Method. Ten minutes goes by in a flash when sprints are the focus. Your final 10 minute interval on the floor will incorporate only 2 muscle groups: Abs and ___? We'll let the trainer fill in the blank.

Totally DRENCHED

The classic, our signature Gold Standard class. This class is how it all started. You will rotate from the treadmill to the floor every 10-15 minutes. Your treadmill work will be challenging and incorporate speeds, inclines and the HIIT Method to maximize your efforts and calorie burn and improve your cardiovascular fitness. The floor work will provide a total body workout and include 3-4 movements focused on improving strength and tone. You will cycle through these movements 3 times making you want to get back on the treadmill.
